Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Cloud Sales Specialist you will leverage the deep relationships you bring and you develop with our largest clients and the extraordinary teams IBM has built around them understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's innovative and industry-leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Based in Canberra, you will be welcomed into one of the most exciting and dynamic teams with a fantastic and highly respected local culture focused on winning with teamwork.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include Client Portfolio Management: Manage a client portfolio, highlighting IBM's technical and business value.Solution-Selling Skills: Utilize solution-selling skills to identify decision makers, qualify opportunities, and foster long-term partnerships.Sales Process Oversight: Accountable for the entire sales process, with a focus on new business and account expansion.Collaboration with IBM Sales Network: Collaborate with IBM's sales network to create innovative solutions to complex problems that drive demand and pipeline.Note: Due to client requirements, Australian Citizenship is required to be eligible for this role.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise Complex Technology Driven Sales Success: Demonstrate a proven track record of success in complex technology sales (IaaS/PaaS), with a focus on Public Sector (Federal Government) clients.Business Acumen: Exhibit a strong understanding of business operations and financial benefits related to technology solutions, ability to translate complex technology solutions into tangible business outcomes.Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess strong, persuasive communication and presentation skills that bring clarity to the complex, and ensure everyone is aligned to your vision.Consistent Target Achievement and High Performance: Maintain a track record of consistently achieving multi-million dollar targets, showcasing high performance, and challenging self and others to consistently deliver results.Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise Value Demonstration: Showcase a track record of experience illustrating how technology solutions deliver tangible operational and financial value at all organizational levels (training on IBM's Cloud offerings will be provided).About Business Unit
