Additionally, this is a long-term contract of 12 months with 24 months extension options.The RoleAs a Cloud Engineer, you will:Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDKImplement automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processesDesign and operate medium-to-large-scale enterprise systems, databases, and infrastructureScript solutions using Perl, Python, and PowerShell to optimise workflowsMaintain and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performanceDesign scalable cloud solutions aligned with business goals and user needsPlan and execute cloud migration strategies in collaboration with stakeholdersThe Ideal PersonCloud expertise: At least three years experience in cloud design, deployment, and optimisation.IaaS/PaaS knowledge: Extensive experience with infrastructure and platform-as-a-service solutions with proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Azure ARM, and AWS CDK.Scripting & Automation: Proficient in Perl, Python, PowerShell, and CI/CD tooling with strong Git skills for effective source code management.Additionally, you will have broad IT expertise, including backups, storage, systems administration, and data protection skills with sound stakeholder engagement skills with a commitment to fostering team development.Salary / Rate$125/hr - $160/hr incl.
