Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) This role is responsible for the management, support, and monitoring of the BOQ Group cloud environment hosted in Azure and AWS.
You will form part of a larger Infra & Cloud team working in a hybrid environment.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our cloud platforms and optimizing cloud resources for optimal performance and efficiency.
Assisting with streamlining processes and workflow, looking at automating routine support tasks such as provisioning resources, managing backups and scaling applications to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
You will be participating in Change and Incident management process for BAU activities and will collaborate with various technology teams including service providers to ensure changes are governed properly.
About you With extensive experience in cloud and infrastructure operations, you have developed a strong expertise in Azure and well-versed in key PAAS capabilities utilized across the banking sector.
We are looking for a solid understanding of cloud automation using Pipelines and scripted functional apps, as well as familiarity with networks and firewalls in a cloud-based environment.
Additionally, you will have proficiency in using CI/CD tools and container services such as Docker and Kubernetes, which will be instrumental in streamlining development and deployment processes.
Furthermore, a DevSecOps background is highly valued, providing a robust foundation in integrating security practices within the DevOps framework for the bank.
You possess a strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in designing and migrating applications to the cloud.
Your knowledge extends to networking, storage, and database cloud services, and you have experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS which further enhances your versatility and capability in managing diverse cloud environments.
