contributor.However, you will also have a strong internal role in advocating for the closure practice, providing guidance to management on market activities and positioning and helping to set Jacobs up for success in this market.To do this you will need to have demonstrated experience in closure and or asset transition and strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication skills.Ideally you will have direct experience working with or for key clients in this area.As the Closure and Asset Transition Lead - Resources, you will be assisting with the development of asset transition and closure strategies, that will lead to the growth of Jacobs resources business within ANZ and globally.You will set clear direction regarding client focus and responsiveness and will help to ensure we can identify and anticipate client needs.The primary focus of the role will be to support studies from our clients that may also cross over into downstream delivery phases.This appointment will focus on developing a Jacobs offering that leverages our existing multi-disciplinary capability providing a unique value proposition for our clients, and, where skills gaps are identified, assist to articulate, partner and/or recruit to fill these gaps.You will have both a passion for, and experience in, delivery of complex mine closures assessments, environmental impact assessments and approvals, and/or asset transition projects from a project delivery, technical and commercial perspective.Strong project management skills honedfrom your extensive background across key Engineering and/or technical disciplines will also be important.Key elements of the role will include: • Instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver a range of projects in Closure and Asset Transition.• Manage delivery of resources and energy generation infrastructure closure and transition projects, including assessing existing information and determining data gaps, options analysis, closure readiness, study management for feasibility studies, projects scheduling, controls and management.• Manage the development of multi-disciplinary closure / asset transition concept plans, closure plans, forward work plans, studies, and projects.• Develop and maintain strong key client relationships – function as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients across the new energy and resources sector.• Look within Jacobs atour existing capability and experience to build a Closure and Asset Transition team across key disciplines including Power and Energy, Cost Control and Estimating, Environment and Approvals, Geotechnical, Waste, Water Resources and Hydrology, Groundwater, and Sustainability.• Overseeing the effective planning and execution of complex projects.You will provide superior Project Management and technical guidance to support others on such projects, as well as perform the role of Project Director and client-facing roles where appropriate.• Providing informal leadership to the broader Project and Program Delivery Services performance unit, as well as collaborate with other Sections with our broader business to help deliver successful project outcomes for our clients.You will also contribute towards the growth of our capacity, Australia (equivalent Australian institution if not an engineer).• Membership of Institute of Engineers Australia and Chartered Engineer Status (equivalent Australian institution if not an engineer) • Robust experience and industry leading knowledge with various aspects of the planning, development, and implementation, and interface requirements of multi-disciplinary asset transition and closure projects.• Sound knowledge of current standards.• Demonstrated familiarity with the delivery methodology including initiation-, development- and delivery-phases, the specific requirements, and levels of accuracy as well as maturity required at each delivery gate for resources and energy clients.• Experience and demonstrated track record of successfully delivering asset transition and closure studies for resources and/or energy key clients.• A strategic and innovative mindset coupled withthe ability to solve complex problems, using strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with
