Excellent career opportunities are currently available for Clinicians with varied experience to join the team at CRAICCHSto assist primarily at the clinics in Cherbourg, Wondai and Kingaroy but may also at times include service delivery and outreach within the region.
The roles are full-time but have the flexibility to be adapted for applicants preferring part-time, or fixed-term contracts.
All positions will report directly to the Clinic Services Coordinator.

Our clinics shut for an hour at lunch each day from 12.40-1.40pm to allow our staff an uninterrupted break.No shiftwork! No weekends! Public Holidays off! Minimal overtime required for things like special events and outreach.About CRAICCHS: Cherbourg Regional Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Service (CRAICCHS) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Organisation.
CRAICCHS objective is to provide increased access to quality primary health care plus social and emotional wellbeing services to the Communities in the South Burnett region.
Key Duties: The following represents a summary of the scope of the duties to be performed:
Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients/visitors/other staff members.Provide daily nursing support to General Practitioners.Undertake all tasks within the nursing scope of practice and/or as directed by the Practice Manager.Assist with vaccinations as qualifications allow.Plan and deliver culturally appropriate quality nursing care in consultation with the patient and the multidisciplinary health care team.Ensure patient records are current and maintained in a compliant and confidential manner.Ensure compliance with CRAICCHS policies and procedures.Stock management of clinic supplies.Work out of normal hours if required.Key Requirements: Applicants will be able to demonstrate:
Current AHPRA registration.Demonstrated clinical knowledge and relevant experience.Knowledge, understanding and experience with care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.Vaccination endorsement- a benefit but not essential.Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, relatives and a broad range of health professionals.Ability to administer and document patient data.Ability to work independently without close supervision and to adapt flexibly to unexpected changes.Proven ability to work cooperatively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and show support and respect for colleagues.Ability to show initiative, discretion and good judgement in carrying out duties.Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.The willingness to maintain professional development and AHPRA registration and to attend CRAICCHS booked training.A current Positive Blue Card (working with children and young people) or the ability to quickly acquire.Enquiries may be directed to CRAICCHS HR, Risk & Compliance Manager Julianne Hansen on 07 4169 8600 .
