The Opportunity Take Two provides a range of therapeutic services for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect, and disrupted attachment, and contributes to the service system that provides care, support and protection for these children.
In this role you will: Carry a case load and provide responsive clinical services to clients who are at various stages of the episode of care, such as assessment, treatment and closure.
Therapeutic work can range from short to long term.
Conduct assessments and develop therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model and/or other clinical measures, with clear goals that are reviewed regularly.
Work in a systemic and collaborative manner with the client, family and the care team to achieve the goals within the specified time frame.
Provide face-to-face clinical services across metropolitan Melbourne and Gippsland.
Provide nation-wide clinical services via telehealth.

You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families, and a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
