The Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG) was established in 1991 and is a recognised leader for conducting high-quality local and multinational research across the clinical trial paradigm in collaboration with strategic partners, including in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and North America.
GI cancers affect the oesophagus, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, bowel, rectum and anus. Collectively these cancers are the most common form of cancer in Australia, affecting over 34,291 Australians each year and claiming a devastating 38 lives each day. AGITG research has led to improvements in both the life expectancy and quality of life of people diagnosed with GI cancer.

As a Clinical Trial Project Manager, you will be managing the clinical operations, providing a high level of sponsor oversight and end-to-end support to their external vendors, specifically on the clinical studies sponsored by AGITG.
Working alongside a passionate research operations team, you will be leading trial operations coordinated by academic and commercial coordinating centres, curating timely, consistent project management plans and pivotal in maintaining positive and transparent relationships and participating in process improvement and implementation processes.
So ideally, we are looking for you to bring:
Strong project management from either an academic setting or CRO/Pharma and working on Investigator Led research;Experience in and have successfully led high-quality clinical trial projects, supporting protocols and publication development and operational guidelines.Ability to hit the ground running, providing sponsor oversight and confidence in managing negotiations with complex stakeholders;Strong team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.Adaptability and the ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.You will be joining a well-respected and highly collaborative team, where they bring in-depth experience, viewpoints, and communication with each other for building the best culture for the organisation.
