Royal North Shore Hospital Pharmacy Department
What you'll be doing The Clinical Team Leader Pharmacist manages the day to day operations of the clinical pharmacy team.Provide expert guidance and advice to the pharmacists providing clinical services at Royal North Shore Hospital.Participate in clinical pharmacy services provision including the general roster as required, including participating in weekend, public holiday, and on-call rosters.Participate in relevant research projects and present at professional conferences & publications in relevant journals.Involvement in education of health professionals and consumers about medicines.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (or eligible for immediate registration) with no conditions or restrictions on practice and evidence of extensive and relevant hospital experience.Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation processes. Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, interns, Pharmacists, and/or Pharmacy Technicians/Assistants.Identify proficient skills and knowledge in the provision of current clinical hospital pharmacy practice. A strong commitment to an evidence-based service to provide for consumers, carers and families.Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills, and have independent professional judgement.Need more information?
