Role Overview Deliver clinical care and service including the coordination of the delivery of nursing, personal care and wellbeing to residents in assigned area, to maintain and improve their quality of life. Provide operational team leadership to nurses and care workers to enable efficient operation of the unit and ensure compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities:
Provide clinical care and nursing services to residents.Coordinate communication with stakeholders.Develop and update resident care plans.Supervise assessments and audits to improve practices.Ensure timely ACC referrals.Guide staff in documentation.Provide staff coaching and development.Maintain a safe, homelike environment.About the Person
Are you an Experience Registered General Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and possess a Senior First Aid Certificate? We're seeking someone proficient in resident nursing and personal care, with strong leadership and team-building skills. If you excel in customer relations, effective planning, prioritization, and conflict resolution, we want to hear from you. Your leadership experience in workload and performance management, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft applications, will be invaluable. Additionally, your extensive clinical knowledge of aging and related health issues, understanding of relevant legislation, and familiarity with Work Health Safety regulations are highly desirable.
