About the service: The Medicare Mental Health Centre (formally known as Head to Health) service model is tailored to the needs of the local community and offers a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people experiencing psychological distress, allowing individuals to identify alternatives to presenting to the Emergency Department and gaining access to support from trained mental health professionals within their community, outside a clinical setting.

Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for all accessing Medicare Mental Health CentreOverseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of clinical, financial, administrative systems and billing processesEnsuring the Head to Health team operates within a framework of continuous quality improvement and risk management.Facilitating and convening meetings of the Clinical Governance Committee and associated subcommittees.Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a mental health serviceDemonstrated experience working within a recovery-based modelDemonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team, with the ability to lead the coordination of care for people with complex needs including consultation and engagement with a wide range of professionals/stakeholders.Highly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.Ability to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment and to exercise judgment and initiative.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCCMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceCurrent Drivers LicenseStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
