Join a multifaceted team of clinicians in a welcoming private practice as a Clinical Psychologist and provide expert therapy to adult clients primarily dealing with eating disorders.
Our client is looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join their inclusive and passionate team. This role offers a niche caseload where you will treat predominately clients with eating disorders, while occasionally seeing other conditions also. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a well-respected practice in the community and contribute to the recovery and mental wellbeing of adult clients.
Key Benefits:
Remuneration: Both salaried and sub-contracting positions available! Earn a competitive salary of between $75k-$130k depending on experience or opt for a sub-contracting arrangement with an attractive take home rate per hour.
Amazing Administrative Support: Administration support including diary management and booking and rescheduling of appointments is provided to you as a clinician by a dedicated administration team.
Dynamic Team: Collaborate with an experienced team of Psychologists and Dietitians in the practice.
Ideal Location: Premier clinic, located in Windsor and close to public transport. Opportunities to work via Telehealth if suitable.
Clientele: Providing support to adult clients experiencing disordered eating, receiving referrals from general practitioners, as well as other eating disorder clinics and practitioners.
Peer supervision: Senior clinicians in this well-established clinic are qualified to provide regular professional supervision to you as a Psychologist.
Your duties will include:
Provide expert therapy to clients through multiple referral streams.
Nurture relationships and communication with referring physicians and allied health professionals.
Upkeep of case notes, file management and the upholding of all required legal and ethical standards.
Requirements/Skills:
Tertiary qualification in Psychology
AHPRA registration
Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
Have previous experience working with disordered eating OR are willing to diversify your skills and undertake this training with our clients support!
