Medical Administration (Healthcare & Medical) Full time The Opportunity - Fixed term contract until June 27, 2025. Established on 1 January 2021, HealthShare Victoria (HSV) is a commercially oriented government organisation focused on supply chain-related value creation for the Victorian public health system.
Reporting to the Clinical Product Manager, the key objective of this role is to provide support across Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Surety functions and provide expert clinical advice ensuring the reliable supply of appropriate goods and the identification of cost-saving alternatives to support health services.
This role will require the successful candidate to travel to either of our facilities at Derrimut and Dandenong South and our office in the Melbourne CBD.
Key Accountabilities Include: Provide information on product alternatives to the Procurement and Supply Chain team to ensure promotion to the health sector. Provide a clinical interface between HSV and the Victorian health sector, ensuring appropriate translation of clinical information. Assist in identifying more effective and efficient methodology for identifying core clinical attributes. Undertake research activities and consult with key customer groups. Participate in supplier relationship management reviews to increase awareness of product training, innovation, and market developments. Lead clinical product evaluation processes at HSV to ensure the supply of cost-effective products. What You Will Bring: Current registration as a Division 1 Nurse, with extensive clinical experience. Experience in clinical research (desirable). Ideally a minimum of 10 years experience in an acute clinical setting. Ability to undertake clinical research where required and participate in project planning. Passion for ensuring best outcomes in patient care. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
