Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
There are currently 2 Part Time Appointments available: one at 72 hours / fortnight and one at 60 hours / fortnight which are both on a 12 hour shift roster pattern across 7 days per week.
What is our Clinical Nurse Specialist - Medical Assessment Unit role? The position practises as a Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart; provides expert clinical leadership and management within the organisation, clinical division and area(s) of responsibility; upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation and nursing values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity.
The Medical Assessment Unit at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is a fast paced 36 bed unit with a multi-disciplinary focus, providing rapid assessment and management of patients presenting with acute and complex general medical problems.
