Clinical Nurse Specialist - Infection ControlWe are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist experienced in Infection Control to work within our specialised team in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia!As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in this role, you would be responsible for the following:Development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of WA Country Health Service (WACHS) – Goldfields Infection Prevention and Control Program.Providing a clinical resource/advisory service for Infection Prevention and Control to all Health Services within WACHS Goldfields.Assisting all Health Services to implement the relevant Infection Prevention and Control requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).To be successful, you will have the following:Demonstrated ability to apply relevant standards, legislation and policies related to the practice of IPC.Demonstrated expertise and experience in IPC with application of theoretical knowledge in clinical practice and research.Demonstrated effective communication and leadership skills including leading change and collaborative engagement with multidisciplinary staff in a variety of contexts.Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating IPC programs, incorporating risk management and quality improvement strategies.Computer literacy and ability to utilise information systems.What we offer:Location based allowancesPaid study Leave assistance – regional specific as per EBAUp to $9010 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, your rent or other everyday living expensesUp to $2650 on meal entertainment, holiday accommodation and venue hireAccess to novated leasing to use pre-tax dollars for a car and expensesPlus, Additional Remote Area Specific Benefits.Flexible working and leave arrangementsProfessional Development opportunitiesContinuous learning opportunitiesWACHS supports flexible working practices and consideration will be given to flexible work/roster options, where operationally appropriate.Application InstructionsApplicants are advised to write a statement addressing the selection criteria on the attached JDF and provide a detailed resume and cover letter which summarises your experience and how you are able to meet the position requirements.
