Women's and Children's Health Network, Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS), Port Lincoln (5607)Classification - RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 - $84,870 to $107,279 pro rataFull time - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Family Health Service team as a Clinical Nurse, where you will be responsible for:
Provide proficient, person centred, clinical nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients.Monitor patient care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved.Assists and supports the Regional Team Manager or equivalent in management, clinical, and education activities.Participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience.About You To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse (and Midwife optional) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificateEffective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervisionRegistered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.What WCHN Can Offer You Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.)Free Public Transport for SA Health Metropolitan Hospital Workers.Access to generous leave provisions and professional development opportunitiesSupport for you and your family via our Employee Assistance ProgramYou may be eligible for financial support if you are considering relocating from interstate or overseas.
