Clinical Nurse Manager - Emergency Department
This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension/s. Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for:
Leading the health care team to provide safe and high quality evidenced based clinical care for patients and their families within the service area and within available resources.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accessible services for the South West community, including the provision of a nursing consultative service representing South West at WACHS and/or state committees.Ensuring standards of nursing practice and implementing changes to clinical practice within service area.To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidenced based nursing care incorporating quality and risk management within Emergency Department services.Demonstrated well developed clinical leadership skills including leading change.Demonstrated well developed skills to manage people, material, and environmental resources to achieve safe high quality consumer centered care.Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.Demonstrated computer literacy with the ability to work with health information systems appropriate to Emergency Department services and the Windows Office suite of applications in everyday work practices.About Us The WA Country Health Service's core business is the provision of quality, accessible health services to people from large regional centres to those in small remote communities.
