The 1D Outpatients service is looking for a Clinical Nurse to join their committed team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. 1D Outpatients is an ambulatory service that is open five days per week specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat, Burns, Plastics, Maxillo-Facial, Head & Neck and Skull base clinics. There are 25-30 clinics per week reviewing up to 120 patients per day. The Outpatients Department also runs multidisciplinary clinics for Head and Neck Cancer, Skull Base, and a sleep multidisciplinary team clinic.

About the Role The Clinical Nurse (CN) role provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of Ear, Nose and Throat, Head & Neck, Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Maxillo-Facial Surgery patients/residents/clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.This role works autonomously within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of surgical specialist nursing care.The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
