VCID No.938949 Position Profile: We are seeking experienced, friendly and passionate nurses to join our team in the role of Clinical Nurse. Successful candidates will promote the health and wellbeing of children, families and specific community groups using a range of health promotion/education and support strategies focusing on the social determinants of health. You will provide effective and efficient preventative and early intervention programs to individuals and groups.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Provide an immunisation service as per the National Immunisation Program and WA Immunisation Schedule.Demonstrate competence in nursing care for clients, promoting self-care and personal responsibility for health.Responsible for providing evidenced-based immunisation services for children and adolescents.Communicate effectively with individuals and groups, encourages community participation and develops partnerships with local networks to achieve the best outcomes for the community.The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
Eligibility: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
