Clinical Nurse Educator Medical Ward Nurses and Midwives EA 2020 – 2024 YW4 - YZ7 48 hours / fortnight Permanent Part Time ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join our medical ward team on a part time basis. In this ongoing role, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical education and support to our nursing staff. Whilst this will be a CNE role there will be an element of the role that will include clinical support on the floor to staff.
Key responsibilities include: Deliver comprehensive clinical education and training to nursing staff on the medical ward. Facilitate skill development and competency enhancement among nursing personnel through hands-on training and mentorship. Collaborate with unit managers and healthcare providers to identify learning needs and develop tailored educational programs. Provide ongoing clinical support on the floor, assisting with patient care activities and ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and implement improvements as needed to enhance staff performance and patient outcomes. Act as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, offering guidance and support in clinical decision-making and complex patient cases.
