Fixed Term Part Time, 36 hours per week 12 Months About the Role This role offers a unique opportunity to coordinate and lead the Grampians Health Graduate Transition Program for West (Horhsam/Dimboola/Edenhope), supporting new graduates as they navigate their transition into the healthcare environment.
You'll be responsible for the seamless delivery of both theoretical and practical training, ensuring the program remains relevant and effective in developing the next generation of nurses, midwives, and paramedics.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the Graduate Transition Program operations Plan, supervise, and evaluate graduate learning experiences Oversee clinical rotations and administer study days Recruit and onboard graduates following the PMCV Graduate Nursing & Midwifery Program (GNMP) Match rules and Code of Conduct, and Grampians Health policy Provide leadership, counseling, and support to graduates and staff Ensure program innovation through ongoing evaluation and improvement Skills & Experience A tertiary qualification in nursing practice and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency as a Registered Nurse A tertiary qualification in field of adult education and/or Cert IV in TAE or working towards An understanding of education frameworks including Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment Experience working within the healthcare setting, well-developed understanding of all clinical areas, disciplines and the ability to develop and maintain internal and external partnerships An understanding of administration and clinical workflows as they relate to the learners on placement Well development IT skills, written and verbal skills Collaborates effectively with others, promotes harmony, and builds trust by establishing strong relationships and encouraging conflict resolution.
