Your part in our UnitingCare team The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Digital Health will play an integral role in the delivery, support and maintenance of the hospitals clinical and digital systems.
This position is a senior clinical role within the corporate team embedded in our hospitals.
Relationship building at all levels of the organisation will be a key competency as the role is integral to the successful delivery and support of digital solutions across the clinical landscape.
The role will primarily be based in Brisbane but will be expected to travel to our regional hospitals on the Sunshine Coast and Wide-Bay areas as required.
It is supported by the Digital Hospitals team, Biomedical, Digital and Technology and eHealth teams, the CNC Digital Health is a senior clinical role reporting to the Clinical Informatics Team Lead.
The position will have a varied range of responsibilities, including providing system education to medical and other hospital staff and ensuring systems are implemented, used and maintained to meet the NSQHS and current best practice.
Engagement in workflow analysis, system design, implementations, upgrades and enhancements are core components of the role.
There will be occasions where this position will be embedded in projects as the key clinical resource.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible, in collaboration with digital support and project teams, for ensuring UCH clinical systems align with the latest National Safety and Quality Health Service standards and current best practice.Participate in the development and release of clinical system upgrades and build work in order to maintain system currency, including testing/organising the testing programs.Provide systems expertise and advice across the clinical digital landscape.Provide advice and advocacy for the corporate digital health roadmap.Engage with stakeholders at all organisational levels to ensure maximum adoption of clinical and digital systems.Vendor management and engagement in consultation with the Clinical Informatics Team Lead, the Digital Hospitals team, the eHealth team and the Digital & Technology project teams.Ensure Continuous Quality Improvement by identifying system or process improvements that will enhance the user or patient experience and safety, and participating in quality improvement activities.Participate in workflow redesign and activities in consultation with the hospitals.Liaise with organisational change managers and project managers to prepare and deliver educational and communications materials across the hospitals.Provision of advice and expertise to Senior Manager, Digital Health and Information Management, General Manager Patient Revenue and Digital Health, Hospitals executive and corporate executive and management teams as required.What makes a difference for you?
