Clinical Nurse Consultant – Day Surgery Unit | Brisbane Provide expert clinical guidance and consultation through an advanced leadership role within the Day Surgery Unit at a private hospital in Brisbane. In this key position, you will collaborate with a supportive team to ensure exceptional levels of patient care. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time roles. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS As the Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Organisation and management of the Day Surgery portfolio, which includes working in a clinical capacity;Education and training of new and existing staff;Roster management and daily allocation;Demonstration of the application of clinical and workplace risk management principles;Application of sound clinical practice to ensure a safe environment and promote optimal patient health;Effective communication of patient responses to treatment and nursing care;Achievement of optimum patient care through collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care;Attainment of optimal patient outcomes through appropriate staff allocation, delegation of work, and effective communication skills;Exercise of authority through appropriate decision-making;Utilisation of customer service principles to exceed customer expectations;Undertaking of other duties as required or directed as service needs change or grow, consistent with the above and within the scope of the position and any other legal or industrial obligations. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS   Current AHPRA registration; Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve; Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care; Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development; Exceptional time management, problem-solving and organisational skills.
