The Department of Health is seeking suitably qualified applicants for a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Lead (528703) vacancy.
Our Aim: The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated Clinical Leads to provide clinical services to children, young people and their families/significant others experiencing mental health concerns.
The Clinical Lead will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical leadership to the team.
The role will include: Being part of a dynamic and well supported team committed to delivering high quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families/carers. Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs. Working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania. Leading and working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required. Salary: $111,506 - $118,336 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification. Current Working with Children Registration. Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
A minimum of 3 years current post graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health or relevant field. Training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate. Current Driver's License. How to Apply Apply Online.
