Clinical Nurse - Acute Care Team

About the role Temporary part-time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/persons with a variety of conditions and support consumers/persons experiencing complex mental health crisis within the Acute Care Team through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/person-focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse/Midwife and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations. This role will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patients' physical wellbeing, manage medication administration, and provide psychotherapeutic interventions. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care. Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others. Participate in and support the performance and development planning of self and others. Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise consumer/patient centred care and organisational outcomes by undertaking projects and research as required.
