About the role

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to assume responsibility for our " Mediterranean Village " as one of the Living Well House Managers. It is your personal qualities and attitude along with a strong customer service ethos and ability to relate to the elderly which will set you apart for this exciting and important role.
This clinical leadership role is responsible for their assigned care team and is the first point of contact for residents and their loved ones.
With support from the clinical leadership team and your Residential Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead your team within your House to provide our residents with the best quality of life outcomes.

Key duties and responsibilities Coordinating the day-to-day activities of your allocated House to ensure a smooth-running, homelike environmentMonitoring all clinical key quality indicators to ensure targets are met where appropriateSupporting and providing direction to all Living Well House team members and those working within your areaFacilitating individual and small group activities that give residents meaning and purpose as they chooseHands-on mentoring, coaching and support to the team as requiredWorking collaboratively with the clinical leads to provide support and care to individual residentsBeing the first point of contact for residents' families and loved ones – to welcome new admissions and build relationships with the resident and their families to enable them to feel part of our homeAssume the responsibility of a specialised portfolio with AdmissionsEnsure ongoing compliance with the Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards. 12th June, 2024 About the organisation

The successful candidate will need to have the following:
Registered nurse with strong organisational skillsDemonstrated leadership skillsAbility to build a teamAbility to work autonomously & flexiblySound communication skills both verbal and writtenA genuine desire to provide our elderly with opportunities to Live Well as they chooseDemonstrated personal values that align with St Basil's Homes (SA) values of Courtesy & KindnessAbility to undertake additional formal trainingKnowledge of regulatory requirements within the Aged Care sector.
