About the Role You will assist in providing a direct client service to residents of the Stepdown Unit at the Ceduna District Health Services
The Residential Care Attendant - Step Down Worker is accountable to the ALO - Stepdown Manager and works in close collaboration with health professionals and is part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Bed making, cleaning of equipment, aids, utensils in work area (including personal possessions), and distribute clean laundry and personal attire Providing input into client assessment Assist in the self-administration of medication on medical authority to client Assist with the provision of routine treatments and procedures Transportation of clients This is a part time vacancy, working 38 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

The Ceduna District Health Services is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and includes Ceduna Hospital. Ceduna Hospital has 15 inpatient beds and provides services including emergency, surgical, general medicine, birthing, renal dialysis, diagnostic radiology and outpatients.
There are also residential aged care services provided within the hospital, at the Kuhlmann Wing and Ceduna Senior Citizens Village. There is also a GP family practice, Community Health services, Allied Health services, and Child, Adolescent and Adult Mental Health services offered on the hospital site.
