Lead and mentor a team of Speech Pathologists within our Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services. Based in Prospect with some travel across metro Adelaide.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinical Lead to manage our Speech Pathology team. In this role you will oversee the daily operation and leadership of Speech Pathologists, including all aspects that contribute to high quality therapy intervention service for people with disabilities across the life span.
The team works within our Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS) which provides specialist intervention, education and therapy services to children, young people and adults within education, community and work settings.

What can you expect to be doing?
Responsible for the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice, maintaining a customer case load.
Provide regular supervision and consultative support to Speech Pathology team, with a focus on building and fostering successful working relationships.
Oversee staff training requirements, ensuring that each staff member is up to date with required training certificates and provide opportunities for staff to participate in professional development programs.
Oversee the coordination of regular discipline meetings, professional development sharing sessions and contribute to portfolio wide leadership meetings.
Contribute to the review and development of policies, procedures, and practices and lead any change initiatives in partnership with the OATS leadership team.
Focus on risk management and best outcomes for customers and program.
Participate in Speech Pathology networking and information event / sessions across the sector to ensure AnglicareSA Speech Pathology services delivered are best practice and evidence based.
What do you need to bring?
Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology.
Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Experience in a leadership / supervisory role or at least 5 years Speech Pathology experience.
Knowledge of a range of developmental delays and disorders.
Knowledge of relevant clinical assessments, interventions, conceptual frameworks and practice models relevant to children, young people and adults with a disability.
Desirable knowledge in supporting individuals with complex communication needs.
