The mental health program you'll be leading, i.am, is designed to provide essential support for children and young people and their families, utilising innovative, evidence-based approaches to ensure the best possible outcomes. It bridges the gap between community and clinical care, emphasising the importance of engagement, collaboration, and empowerment.
The program offers specialised support for young people experiencing suicidality, self-harm, and other mental health challenges, with an emphasis on tailored, flexible, and holistic interventions. This includes personalised planning and care delivery to empower young people to overcome barriers, strengthen resilience, and achieve their goals.
The Opportunity The Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in driving high-quality, client-centred care within a vital mental health service supporting young people. This key leadership position will involve guiding and mentoring a team of Support Workers and Peer Workers, fostering their professional development and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care. The Clinical Lead will support the team by conducting assessments, reviewing risk assessments and safety plans, and providing expert guidance on complex cases.
