The role of Clinical Forensic Medicine Registrar is an opportunity to try something unique and rewarding in a stimulating environment.The VIFM offers 6-month placements which are accredited with the RACGP, ACEM, RCPA Faculty of Clinical Forensic Medicine and RACP Sexual Health Chapter. Current vacancies are in the first half of 2024.The Clinical Forensic Medicine Registrar placement offers a non-hospital-based experience in a well-supported setting. During this placement you can expect to acquire practical, sought-after skills that you will utilise throughout your career, such as:Injury documentation and interpretationClinical photographyForensic evidence collectionMedico-legal reportsEthical issuesExposure to court evidenceWorking with policeYou will be part of the Clinical Forensic Medicine team responsible for the delivery and coordination of forensic services to the living.
