You will play a key role in the delivery of education and training to undergraduate students in nursing.
As a Clinical Facilitator, your responsibilities will include: Work in partnership with the Education Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Educators to facilitate student professional experience placements.Deliver education and support to students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement.Maintain ongoing communication of student/staff expectations and provide learning that meets the needs of students.Facilitate the opportunity for students to study and learn through observation, participation, reflection, skill development, tutorials, and seminars.Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years' Registered Nursing experience in an acute environment (Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred).Postgraduate studies in clinical education or preceptor course completion is desirable.Working with Children check.Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work across a rotating roster.Sunnybank Private Hospital is a 111 bed facility located on the Southside of Brisbane, offering acute medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. It is situated approximately 13 kilometers south of the Brisbane CBD and is the first Private Hospital north of the Gold Coast.
