This newly created role provides an exceptional opportunity to experience and develop rural and remote Primary Health Care in the Northern Territory.Based in Katherine, the role will include a significant clinical fraction and provide clinical leadership to the remote health care clinics managed by BRR at Borroloola, Numbulwar, Pine Creek and Robinson River.
The role can be established with flexibility to support your interests, including rural and regional general practice, rural generalist, and emergency medicine.
We have a flexible senior roster with opportunities for self-education and upskilling, cross-divisional practice and junior doctor supervision.
Through our evolving Single Employment model, there is the potential to split this role with other agencies in the Region, working under a single contract.Based in the Big Rivers Region of the Northern Territory and serving 21 remote Aboriginal communities, Katherine hospital is uniquely placed to offer the challenges of tropical medicine, trauma, remoteness, high acuity and patients with complex comorbidities.
You would join our stable and collegial senior clinical team consisting of rural generalists, general Physicians and Emergency specialists.
