Clinical Dietitian: Level 1/2 Fulltime

A full-time position for a dietitian with a background and experience in oncological dietetics is currently available.

Your daily duties will include:
Nutritional management of oncology inpatients and outpatients, including conducting comprehensive nutrition assessment, planning and implementing appropriate nutrition intervention, and providing education and counselling to patients and their carers.Participation in multidisciplinary, allied health, and dietetic team meetings.Participation in supervision, teaching, education activities, and quality improvement initiatives.Working with the food service provider to support the provision of safe, high-quality meals.Clinical Dietitian: Level 1/2 fulltimeBusiness: Chris O'Brien Lifehouse

Selection criteria - To be successful in this role you will need:
Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics, recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia.At least one year of experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably with experience in the clinical areas of upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, and head and neck surgery.Evidence of advanced practice skills, including enteral and parenteral nutrition.Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.Demonstrated written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.Evidence of commitment to professional development.Evidence of involvement in quality activities.Apply now
