Clinical Coordinator & Dental Assistant/Receptionist Multiple opportunities available as we prepare for significant growth:
1 x Full-Time Clinical Coordinator (Available 4 days per week between 7:30am-5:30pm – some occasional 6pm finishes – no weekend work). 1 x Casual Dental Assistant/Receptionist (Availability Tuesdays, Thursdays and potentially Fridays. Available between 7:30am – 6:00pm and seeking someone who can cover additional weekday shifts as per operational requirements). The Heart of the Role Clinical Coordinator: Clinical Coordination; manage practice support staff, running weekly team meetings, liaising between the Practice Principal and front office manager and the clinical team. Dental Assisting: ability to assist with implant surgery, general dental treatment, cosmetic procedures and more; ability to train other team members in all procedures. High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly, light-hearted manner. Stock liaising with the stock ordering staff member. Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic. Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions. Implementing, monitoring and reporting of repairs and maintenance across the practice. The role will also include the rostering of staff and assisting with department training and career progression of the team members. What you'll bring Clinical Coordinator: Experience in a busy dental practice, ideally as a clinical coordinator with dental assistant experience. Must hold either a certificate 3 or 4 in Dental Assisting or 3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant. Must have a current Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one. Proven record in time management & organisation skills. Excellent professional bearing, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate others. History of staff and clinical management. A keen eye for detail, great organisation and time management skills as well as an ability to multi-task. Ability to set an example for others (i.e. punctuality, skills, work ethic). The Heart of the Role Dental Assistant/Receptionist: Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients. Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists. Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression. Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records. Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions. Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures. Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management. What you'll bring Dental Assistant/Receptionist: Ideally 2+ months experience in Australia as a Dental Assistant. However happy to train and support the right candidate. Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded - and you'll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level! Must have a current Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one. Flexibility to cross train into Reception. Full training and support provided. You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Passionate about customer service and patient care. Vivacious and vibrant personality! Organised with attention to detail. Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner.
