Permanent positionFull time (80 hours per fortnight – Monday to Friday, with monthly ADOs)Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 2 Level 1 (HS2)Located at The AlfredGreat staff benefits!The Department The Alfred has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Communications Officer to join the Health Information Services (HIS) team which manages the iMedX dictation system.
The Clinical Communications team in HIS are responsible for processing over 6,000 outpatient transcriptions per month ensuring that all dictated transcriptions reach their destination, i.e. correct Doctor/GP, correct encounter, etc. The team is also responsible for actioning any failed distribution of discharge summaries and maintaining various clinical databases.
The Role The successful applicant must have demonstrated excellent, clear and effective communication skills. The ability to prioritise tasks, promote and maintain good customer relations, professional behaviour and team spirit is also required.
