Client Services Specialist / Paralegal

At Claimsplus Lawyers, a leading law firm specialising in super claims, we seek a professional and self-motivated Client Services/Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you'll manage inbound new client inquiries primarily on Total and Permanent Disability and Income Protection claims.

The Role: As a Client Services/Paralegal, you will be the first point of contact for client inquiries, specialising in Total and Permanent Disability and Income protection claims.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Collaborating within a team to handle and process new client inquiries.
Ensuring timely follow-up on inquiries.
Acting as a liaison between potential clients and senior claim managers to deliver exceptional service.
Managing and updating software systems as needed.
Scheduling new client appointments.
Communicating with management on issues, timelines, and client concerns.
Undertaking general administrative tasks as directed.
Reporting: Your role will involve various administrative functions, such as:
Handling correspondence, including printing and saving.
Managing email communications.
Organising and maintaining physical and digital files.
Proactively supporting the team to maintain efficient work practices.
The Ideal Candidate: We're seeking a candidate who embodies professionalism, empathy, and responsibility.
While prior experience in a similar customer service role is advantageous, it's not essential.
Essential qualifications and skills for the role include:
Strong customer service skills.
Professional phone etiquette.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Capacity to build lasting client relationships.
Prioritisation and escalation skills for workflows and inquiries.
Experience in a service-oriented environment.
Foundation-level administration, paralegal, or clerical skills in a legal or related field.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in word processing and Microsoft Office suite.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional organisational skills and professional presentation.
