By supporting the academic endeavour across teaching, research, and the student life, you will have the opportunity to contribute to activities that have a lasting impact on our community.Join a community where excellence is at the core of our culture, contributions are valued and a range of are available, such as:26 weeks paid parental leave or 14 weeks paid primary caregiver leave17% superannuation contributions17.5% annual leave loadingAccess to flexible working arrangements including hybrid working options, flexible start/finish times, purchased leave, and a condensed fortnightHealth and wellness discounts – fitness passport access, free yearly flu vaccinations, discounted health insurance, and access to our Employee Assistance Program for staff and their immediate familyOn campus childcare optionsCheap parking (from just $5.75 a day) – when working at St LuciaSalary packaging optionsAbout This Opportunity The primary purpose of the Client Services Officer is to provide administration support for either the custom programs or open course offerings, and operational support for the UQBS Executive Education team.Key responsibilities will include: Ensure timely and accurate processing of either open course enrolments or custom programs keeping stakeholders informed of progress and updating systems as necessary.Administer all operational requirements for courses, including room allocation, course material uploads, orientation sessions, and extending to intensive offerings incorporating meals, accommodation, and other logistics.Respond to enrolment queries from prospective participants seeking advice or escalating as necessary.Provide timetabling support to the Client Services Manager.Liaise with external service providers to source quotes for printing, venue hire, catering and other associated event requirements, maintain and keep records of event budgets and follow approval processes.Complete general workshop, finance and reporting administration, including preparing run sheets, debrief notes, keeping accurate workshop data records as well as preparing subsequent analysis for management reporting.Attend and participate in Executive Education related marketing events and information evenings as directed from time to timeThis is a full-time (100%), continuing position.At HEW level 5, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $77,396.47 - $86,029.78, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.
The total FTE package will be up to $90,553.87 - $100,654.84 annually.
As these roles are covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases in line with the Enterprise Agreement.About You Tertiary qualifications in business administration, event management or related discipline, and/or relevant demonstrable experience providing effective and efficient administrative support within a multi-functional team environmentDemonstrated high-level of customer service experienceExperience in event planning and delivery, and experience supporting online engagement activities and webinars.High-level written, oral and interpersonal communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with participants, stakeholders, clients and suppliers and to utilise such skills to improve work processes in challenging situations.Demonstrated ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlinesHigh-level skills in the use of computer packages and software applications (in particular, databases)In addition, the following mandatory requirements apply:Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
