Job Title: Client Services Officer Job Type: Full time
We are currently looking for an experienced Client Services Officer to join our team. As part of our national Customer Service team, you will be helping customers with their queries as well as assisting in administering loans from settlement of a new loan to customers paying out their home loans.
At AFG, we service our customers over the phone, so it is imperative that our phone-based service team is happy and customer-focused. We do not have call center targets associated with a traditional call center. You will be taking calls from our clients but will not be expected to take huge volumes every day. Instead, we simply want people who genuinely enjoy helping customers and want to work as part of a friendly, supportive team.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated client service experience, with a warm and inviting telephone manner, the ability to ask effective questions and demonstrate active listening techniques. The ability to take ownership of the call to ensure the best outcome possible for our clients. A professional, friendly, and helpful attitude. Strong organizational skills – able to manage your daily workload whilst taking telephone calls and ensuring accuracy of administrative tasks. Genuine enjoyment in talking to customers and helping people. Strong IT skills with an ability to pick up new systems quickly. An open mind with a flexible attitude - we are always improving, and we value your input. Banking and finance experience would be very helpful. Working knowledge of ZenDesk would be an advantage, but not essential.
