Product Management & Development (Marketing & Communications)Full timeAs a Planning Manager in the Client Growth & Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail clients by developing bespoke experiences and market-ready opportunities that leverage News Corp's vast array of brands, products, and editorial initiatives.This internal role will work cross-functionally with sales, strategy editorial, product development, and marketing teams to craft tailored, data-driven strategies that align with the unique objectives of our retail clients.You will be responsible for understanding client needs, curating strategic plans, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver custom experiences and collateral that drive engagement, growth, and results for our retail partners.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the creation of innovative and tailored strategies for retail clients, utilising News Corp's diverse assets across print, digital, and editorial.Work closely with editorial, strategy, sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and integrated client experiences that deliver client outcomes and align with overall NCA business goals.Evolve and develop digital products to meet the needs of our retail client base, involving internal stakeholder collaboration with Client products, external vendors, and sales to ultimately deliver a feasible product and solution for our clients with an exceptional experience.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deeply understand client needs and objectives, ensuring custom solutions exceed expectations.Craft compelling end-to-end narratives around media plans that clearly communicate retail clients' strategy, objectives, and expected outcomes.Stay informed on the latest industry trends, particularly in retail and digital media, and integrate this knowledge into client strategies, network planning, and partnerships.Collaborate with the Client Strategy Manager to ensure all projects stay aligned with broader strategic objectives while addressing client challenges through creative thinking and innovative solutions.Provide insights and feedback to refine strategy and insights processes, ensuring they are aligned with both client needs and broader business goals.Who are you?5+ years in planning, strategy, or client management roles, preferably within media, retail, or related industries.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and enhance client relationships.Experience working closely with sales, marketing, strategy, and editorial teams to drive business results.Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for evaluating campaign performance and optimizing media plans such as Nielsen, Adobe, and Roy Morgan.Develop a deep understanding of the retail industry and how media, editorial, and advertising can support retail client growth.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to diverse internal stakeholders.News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients, and communities.
