This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Health & Benefits clients by supporting the delivery of Insurance solutions that meet agreed client outcomes within a specific portfolio that has a strong weighting to specific industries.

What the day will look like
Reporting to the Client Director, key responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of Health & Benefits clients.Growth of existing book of business through internal and external new business prospecting.Engagement and negotiation with insurance markets.Utilising data and analytics to provide insights to clients and support marketing strategies across Life Insurance.Managing a portfolio of large national and multi-national clients.Working closely and collaboratively with peers in application of subject matter expertise.Designing and executing service plans to deliver superior client outcomes.Ensuring the service plan offering aligns to client needs.Facilitation of strategic claim reviews to ensure the best outcomes for all parties.Developing appropriate solutions to meet client needs resulting in improved client outcomes and retention.Working collaboratively with national colleagues to build best in class solutions for Aon clients. Skills and experience that will lead to success Previous experience working across group risk (life), accident and health, and / or private health insurance, for insurers, consulting/broking company, financial adviser, or superannuation fund.General Insurance Broking and/ or, Life and superannuation will be viewed favourably.Knowledge of employee benefits programs including the various legislative requirements.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Proven ability to successfully manage multiple consulting engagements for a diverse range of clients.Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, in-house designed databases).Have superior time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.Promotes and facilitates effective two-way communication, both within the organisation and externally, and able to positively influence key decision makers.
