The Opportunity We are excited to be welcoming the newest member of the Nova family into our Melbourne Commercial Sales team as a Client Experience Manager. Broadly, this is a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with Nova Clients through a variety of methods including Brand Events, Immersive Experiences and Entertainment. You will be part of a team that prides itself on delivering events and experiences that 'WOW' our clients, are aligned to our Brand Experience, and set Nova Entertainment apart as the All of Audio partner of choice in the Australian market.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, your key responsibilities will include: Managing all operational aspects of each event (end to end) including planning, execution, supplier management, talent briefing and schedules. (This includes ticketing, guest lists, catering etc.) You are known for your attention to detail and juggling skills!Ensuring all timelines and budgets are successfully managed.Using platforms such as Microsoft Office, EventHub and Canva.Working closely with the Internal Commercial teams to maximise all assets and opportunities to maintain and enhance our client relationships.Managing tracking of allocated budgets, allowances, and dining allocations and establishing a close working relationship with finance to ensure all budgets, invoices and costs are reconciled on a regular basis.Sales Administration supporting your internal stakeholders – this can include managing diary appointments, travel bookings and expenses for senior level staff, as required.Continually working to develop client engagement strategies and leading the implementation of these changes.Proactively using Blue Sky thinking to create client experiences beyond the standard and larger scale events.Seeking to deliver innovation in solutions across all aspects of your role beyond initial ideation to deliver on objectives, fit budget requirements and changing market circumstances.About you: You like people and love organising events – you are known for being hands-on and aren't afraid to roll your sleeves up.You are a detail-oriented person who leaves no stone unturned and takes pride in ensuring the events and experiences you organise delight our clients and are executed seamlessly.You have a calm and professional approach to your work, giving confidence to your stakeholders that if anything goes awry, you have the maturity to be solutions-focused.You can work autonomously and are known for managing your time well and your ability to work across multiple projects.The business' engagement strategy is constantly evolving and changes to meet the needs of the business and local market, and you can confidently and quickly adapt to meet those changes.You have a head for numbers and have the proven ability to work to a budget.Skills and Experience required for this role: Previous experience in Events Organisation or Project Management and Execution.Proven capability to manage budgets, guest lists and event logistics (this role, whilst a manager role, does not involve managing direct reports).A self-motivated individual that can work both autonomously and collaboratively and take direction when required.Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel skills desirable) / Canva skills and the ability to create presentations and scripting that will WOW your stakeholders is desirable.Fantastic verbal and written communication skills.A cool, calm and collected demeanor.Are able and happy to work outside of standard hours to deliver on events that fall across evenings and weekends.Why you will love working at NOVA: This is a high-profile role that will lead to personal and professional career development in a market-leading Broadcast Media powerhouse.Our Sales Teams are highly collaborative, and we are a team that is on-site 5 days a week – workplace flexibility can be offered depending on business needs.Additional leave days: Anniversary & Loyalty leave, Give-back Leave, Mental Wellbeing days, Paid Parental Leave (one of the best programs in Australia).Access to Learning and Development programs & internal opportunities - such as Future Women Scholarships, Internal Mentoring Program etc.Access to health and wellbeing initiatives (Nova's Life+ & Employee Assistance Program, mental health training programs, discounted memberships etc.).Frequent staff lunches, survey celebrations & an in-house bar!Dog friendly workplace.Access to the BEST events in town (Nova Red Room anyone?).Plus, a whole lot more!HOT TIP - you will be asked about our audio products and what you love about NOVA so make sure you log in to the Nova Player.
