This role will be pivotal in the ongoing procurement transformation of the organisation centred around systems development, category management, cultural & structural integrity and stakeholder engagement. This role will focus on the execution of a range of procurement activities to service a number of community health programs.

Description The role will focus on transforming a relatively tactical procurement model into a more strategic and commercial model with robust financial and best practices initiatives in place. You will be accountable for delivering strategic goals across sourcing and contracts processes while leading and upskilling the team.
Identify and implement strategic improvement activities across areas such as tenders, sourcing, contracts and project related work. Lead a medium size team as they partner with the various business units to execute a full source to contract program of work across major addressable and non-addressable spend. Generate varied and detailed procurement reports that provide insights into spending, performance and market trends to inform commercial decision-making. Oversee complex negotiations while providing strategic advice and resolving complex risks in various contracts in conjunction with the team. Lead the stakeholder engagement plan by coordinating relevant procurement and contract management activities that are focused on identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Profile The successful candidate will enjoy having a hands-on involvement with the day-to-day procurement and contracts activities. You will have a strong technical skill set across areas including category management, strategic sourcing, supplier rationalisation, and full life cycle contracts.
You will demonstrate experience in delivering a range of change management activities including technology, systems and supplier engagement. Furthermore, you will be a driven leader who is passionate about upskilling your team and creating opportunities for growth.
