The College is currently inviting applications for the full-time, ongoing position of Capital Works Manager. The Capital Works Manager is responsible for all works undertaken by the Capital Works Department on behalf of the College, providing subject matter expertise and advice to the College's Senior Management Team, with responsibility over WHS compliance, expenditure budgets, procurement, reporting, policies, and procedures.

ABOUT YOU The successful applicant will have:
Proven experience in an equivalent/similar role delivering Project Management at an organisational level (circa 10 years). An understanding of capital project management best practices. Medium to advanced level of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Facilities Management Information Systems (or similar) and CAD. High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish strong links with key stakeholders. Ability to negotiate effectively and work through issues constructively. Ability to operate and foster a team environment. Knowledge, understanding, and experience of compliance with the Work Health Safety Act. Proven record of delivering projects on time and on budget. Extensive experience in construction contract management. Demonstrated ability to work as a flexible member of a dynamic team. Understanding of and commitment to the Mission and Values of the College. Hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare, and well-being of children and young people. #J-18808-Ljbffr
