About the Role This role is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the mine plan through six-month rotations between the OCE and Production Supervisor functions.
In both functions, you will directly influence compliance with Bengalla's safety management system through supervision and leadership of the permanent and contract workforce.
In this role, you will also: Drive the execution of the daily, weekly, and annual operating plansEffectively manage incidents and respond to emergenciesVerify statutory complianceMake production decisions that achieve safety, productivity, and plan complianceDrive crew ownership of safetyContinually identify and implement improvement ideas to enhance process designWhat You'll Need Must have a current practicing certificate, maintained such that it will be eligible for renewalStrong interpersonal skills supported by proven leadership and team membership skillsAbility to respectfully challenge the status quo and drive performanceProven experience in safety leadership and incident reductionRelevant legislative knowledgeHigh-level judgement, decision-making, and problem-solving capability, as well as a professional level of written and oral communication skillsStrong planning and organizing skillsProfessional manner and a 'can do' attitudeWhat We Offer Bengalla values its people and their contribution to the operation.
