Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Cleaner, Food Services Assistants, Support Services Attendant and Ward Support at a number of Hospitals across Adelaide that we deliver services to. We are offering Casual or Part Time shifts.
Cleaning positions:
Cleaners provide services to all departments, wards and public areas
Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
Food Service Assistants:
Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwhiches and drinks
Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
This role works in various shifts across seven days - morning and afternoon shift
Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
Support Services Attendants:
The Support Service Attendant (SSA) is a multi-discipline role encompassing performing the following duties;
Patient Movement and Co-ordination Service
Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed
Assist with transportation of medical equipment
Collection and delivery of records and documentation
Assist with transportation of equipment across the site
Follow all infection prevention protocols
Adhere to correct manual handling procedures and WHS practices

Minimum Criteria:
Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Hep B, Polio or blood test to show immunity
Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays
Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months
Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
