About the role Baptistcare Caloola Centre in Wagga Wagga is seeking a casualcleaner to join their team. As a cleaner you will be responsible for the cleaning of residents' rooms and general areas in the home. You will enjoy working in a large team who are committed to making a difference in the lives of residents.
The shifts availabilities are Monday-Friday 0700-1330hrs, 0700-1500hrs and weekends 0700-1500hrs
About you The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.
Previous cleaning experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of work health and safety practicesAbility to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasksPrevious experience in aged care (desirable)Willingness to work as part of a busy, friendly teamStrong focus, positive attitude and is well organisedExcellent communication skillsAbout Baptistcare Caloola Centre Nestled in the peaceful and scenic bushland of Wagga Wagga, Caloola Centre provides quality, specialist support to a well-loved community on beautifully landscaped gardens neaby to the shops, clubs, and church.
The 70-room facility provides quality, palliative care as well as security for those living with dementia. This includes our newly built sensory garden, delivering a safe and stimulating outdoor space for clients.
