Cleaner Part Time Positions We are looking for a person to be part of our cleaning team that supports our teachers and students. That person would be working in a team environment to efficiently clean classrooms and other school facilities Monday to Friday 3-6pm each day.

Previous cleaning experience is desired, but a willingness to serve in this capacity is essential.

Key Responsibilities
The specific responsibilities of the cleaning staff involve working in a timely and efficient manner regarding all aspects of school cleaning, carried out in both term and non-term time.

The main cleaning activities include:

Cleaning classrooms (wiping desk & other surfaces, vacuuming floors, cleaning windows) Emptying bins (internal and external) Cleaning student and staff toilets Vacuuming staff and admin work and common areas General tidiness (picking up loose rubbish around grounds) Work hours during school terms are 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday. During school holidays major cleaning takes place for one week. During the summer break two weeks of cleaning is required but the timing of these weeks is in consultation with the cleaning team.

As the position requires the ongoing manual handling of equipment and waste, a medical/physical examination may be required by a school appointed medical assessor (at the school's expense) before on-going work is offered.
