Cleaner - Full Time

Competitive Hourly rate of pay Permanent Role Ambient & Cold Storage environment Job Duties/Essential Functions: Cleans Depot floors (Chiller, Freezer, DRY) by self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery.
Restocks supplies Empties trash from designated areas throughout the Depot.
Operates garbage compactor, cardboard baler and power equipment.
Cleans and sanitize Depot offices, break room, kitchen, change room, first aid room, optical, restrooms and all areas of the building by Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping.
Follows proper maintenance and general safety and security procedures, such as tagging and locking off power access When working on electrical equipment, wearing safety goggles when using compactor and baler and product disposal.
Assists in other areas of the Depot as necessary Provides a prompt and courteous customer service to employees and contractors Must be able to work in split shift/ rotating roster / Saturdays Must be physically fit Chiller/Cold /Freezer temperature work may be required Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery: Scrubber/Sweeper, Baler Machine, Walk behind scrubber, handheld two-way radio.
Non-Essential functions: Assists in other departments where necessary.
Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry specific skills that candidates should possess): Education/Training: High school Certificate Skills: Janitorial, maintenance, or comparable experience Other specific requirements: The successful candidate will require a satisfactory criminal record check as the facility is a Bio security bonded facility The successful candidate will undergo a drug and alcohol screening
