We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Claims Specialist . In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by offering early, timely, and personalised support to workers, employers, and stakeholders.

This will be a permanent, full time position based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Pro-actively proceed with appropriate case management to achieve the optimum outcome of early sustainable return to work for workers with reasonable claim costs. Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions. Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policy, in accordance with EML procedures. Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans. Conduct health promotion activities to enhance the injured worker's wellbeing and empower them to participate in their own treatment and recovery. ABOUT YOU High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Sound negotiation and influencing skills. Empathy and understanding for others. The ability to effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work. Basic understanding of common medical terminology or allied health experience Knowledge of the relevant worker's compensation legislation and regulations is desired. WHAT WE OFFER
