Thursday, 24 October 2024 OUR PURPOSE IS 'TO PROTECT' WE CARE, WE WORK TOGETHER, WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE Claims Officer, Workers Compensation Full time, fixed-term roles available until 30 June 2025 Roles can be based in any of our CMI regional offices (Speers Point, Woonona or Singleton) About the role: Due to the recent implementation of a new system in our Coal Mines Insurance business unit, Coal Services is currently seeking multiple Claims Officer to join the team on a fixed-term basis and support the rollout activities. As a Claims Officer, your main responsibility will be to process invoices and effectively manage claims-related administration and customer service activities. Full training will be provided however individuals with invoicing, payroll or accounts payable experience would be preferred. Your main responsibilities will include: Accurate and timely payment of accounts Registration of claims and early notifications Efficient management of customer claims administration, mail, phone enquiries and file management Ability to meet KPI targets in a timely manner About you: Your education, experience and skills will include: Business Administration Certificate (desirable) Strong computer skills especially with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite Team player with a focus on customer service excellence Excellent attention to detail and commitment to learning Organisational skills and ability to prioritise Clear verbal and written communication skills Professional phone manner What we offer: Friendly and supportive team culture 7.25-hour days, Monday to Friday Remote working up to 3 days/week once trained (subject to business needs) Full training and professional development provided 5 weeks annual leave plus 20% leave loading (pro rata) 18 days personal leave & 3 days family and emergency leave (pro rata) Additional company holidays at Easter and Christmas Access to onsite gym and onsite parking Reward and Recognition program to celebrate your success Retailer discounts through Smart Spending App Access to Employee Assistance Program and novated leasing About us: Coal Services is a Specialised Health and Safety Scheme that provides an integrated suite of services to help identify, assess, monitor, and control many risks inherent in the NSW coal mining industry. Permanent roles are open only to Australian and New Zealand Permanent Residents or Citizens. Visa holders with unlimited right to work in Australia will be considered for Fixed Term Contracts.
