For over 20 years we have been using our leading-edge technologies and a digitally-connected supply panel of trades to provide better cost, quality and claims management outcomes.
Our clients include insurers, brokers, strata managers, facilities managers, real estate, government departments, private works and others. Our insurance works cover both normal and catastrophe event claims for some of the largest insurers in Australia.
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking applications for a Tasmania-based Insurance Site Assessor/Estimator to join our team. The role can be based in Launceston, Hobart, or Devonport.

Key Responsibilities Conducting virtual property damage assessments for Insurance claims Establish scope and cost achievable repair method in line with industry standards and benchmarks Accurately reporting on causation, damage, cause of loss, maintenance and policy alignment Investigate and respond to any client issues Provide advice and feedback on errors and/or omissions in relation to method, scope, cost of repair and/or report structure Providing a high level of customer service and care to all customers, clients, suppliers and colleagues Consistently update the Claim Central system and client databases with up to date notes as required Driving the claims process, supporting and supported by key stakeholders Maintain customer and client awareness of assessment process and status with proactive outlook on customer experience Liaising between customers, clients, suppliers and colleagues to ensure that all assessment is completed within expected timeframes Ad hoc projects and assessing in support of the continuous improvement initiatives or CAT event
About You Extensive building industry experience (carpenter trade preferable) Previous experience in Quantity Surveying (advantageous) Strong experience with MS Office and other computer applications Proactive customer-centric focus and outlook Proven previous experience with report writing Ability to work under pressure High level of communication skills Strong organisation and time management skills High attention to detail Proactive and enjoy working autonomously If you would like to be a part of the Claim Central team then please submit your application.
